Alrighty welcome to the freebie! When Suzi and I were sitting down to simply and accelerate
your progress on this course, we really debated on the best way to launch a valuable freebie
quickly and simply.
At first we wanted to teach photoshop, PowerPoint, and other pro-level tools to help you create
incredibly well-designed PDFs and ebooks…
But deep down we knew that really wasn’t serving you

The best freebies:

  • Solve a problem for your reader
  • Are simple to create
  • Are simple to consume

I mean learning how to build a blog in the first place is a huge learning curve! We didn’t want to
add another huge one for you, and after a lot of thought, we realize we didn’t need to!
The freebie you are going to create will accomplish all 3 of these goals perfectly, and won’t
require any additional tech or learning curves.

We are just going to create a page on your website that is hidden from your readers (not in your
header, footer, or linked to anywhere from the site). It’s basically an island with no boats
travelling there.

The ONLY way to get to the page is to have people “opt in” to your email list, at which point we
will EMAIL them the link to the page.

The page will include 7 of your best tips on your topic. They should be focused around a specific
problem you know your audience has struggled with, and one that you have solved or are at
least further along than your ideal readers. Here’s how I would lay out the page.

Here are the settings I’d recommend you set up your Kadence Theme page with so this page looks like a premium full-width experience:

  1. Select Page Settings
  2. Disable Page Title
  3. Choose Full-width settings
  4. Unboxed Content Style
  5. Bottom only vertical padding
  6. Disable Featured Image
  7. Disable Header

Feel free to make this page your own, add or remove anything you want to it! But this should get you off to a great start!

The 7 Secrets to Planning a Productive Day

WITHOUT Stress, Mess or Overwhelm

Note (Delete Me):

I like this headline format – The ## Secrets for [Benefit] Without [pain, undesirable outcome]. Play with it and find both the pleasure and the pain that your audience is dealing with and try to address both of them with your headline. The intro paragraph should be short and sweet. A quick bio about you (<100 words ideally), and why you are qualified to be sharing this with them. Don’t worry about actual credentials or prizes, simply focus on your experience and outcomes – that speaks louder than college degrees these days. Then transition into the list with something like:

You CAN Do This. And I’m Here to Help

my OWN path to achieving homeschooling success. Let’s start with #1

Secret #1: [Actionable Tip]

Here you want to talk about the what, why, and the how for this secret. What is the secret?

Why does it work / why is it important? and how do you do it properly?

You don’t want to give away the farm here, because you want to leave room for your eventual products and services later on. I would target 200 – 500 words per secret.
